Speed Gallery was born during a dusty summer firestorm in the SFV while working in the waste disposal unit of a dream factory. On the way to collect left over paramilitary costumes and props from China, Eric and Brad speculated on the possibility of discovering the ultimate forgotten psyche rock, space music, mental gallery record....Tangerine Dream, Santo and Johnny, and Nurse with Wound produced in Chrome's studio by Ryuichi Sakamoto doesn't exist.... but maybe it needed to?? Years passed after many wrong turns, missed connections, a stab at a Tuxedomoon cover, and a broken drum machine purchased on Palmdale Craigslist. Now the dimensional door to their east side LA metal box/bunker has opened. Speed Gallery have delivered their "glue wave" sound, like a coyote howl in the dark, to a decadent techno world on the brink of collapse.
